Angela Demonte, LEED AP, EP
Title: Green Design Specialist
With vibrancy and passion, Angela Demonte, LEED AP, EP, has been committed to environmental initiatives for over a decade. Angela founded the business to advance sustainability throughout Minnesota and the Midwest. She operates the business out of the Twin Cities.
Angela graduated with Honors from Harvard University with a degree in Natural Science and Environmental Studies (Environmental Science). Since graduating from Harvard, Angela has been working throughout Minnesota as an environmental consultant in the commercial and residential development and real estate industry specializing in green designs, renewable energy and pollution remediation. She has the practical experience to evaluate green building materials and the eye for style to assist her clients with their design and implementation.
Angela is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP), which allows her to offer valuable expertise for her clients' commercial and residential construction projects by guiding them through the technical specifications required by the United States Green Building Council's (USGBC) rigorous LEED certification standard. She also tackles other bonafide green building standards or requirements upon her clients request, such as Building Benchmarks and Beyond (B3), Energy Star, the 2030 Challenge, MN GreenStar, REGREEN, NAHB Green Building Program and Chicago's Green Home Checklist (among others).
Angela is experienced in sustainable business planning and reporting utilizing comprehensive standards like the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) version G3, and was recently engaged to conduct a Corporate Sustainability Report (CSR) using the GRI, G3 standard for a fortune 500 company with manufacturing facilities around the world. The GRI G3 standard has been implemented by companies like Canon, Volvo and Time Warner, just to name a few. Angela meets the requirements for the Environmental Professional (EP) designation as defined by the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) All Appropriate Inquiry for real property. With pragmatic experience analyzing environmental issues in comprehensive reports for businesses, she is able to tackle the respective standards or guidelines for her clients in a clear and concise manner. Depending on the needs of the client, Angela is able to select the right sustainability tools and approaches to help her clients achieve their green design and sustainability goals.
Angela actively participates with the local LEED Mississippi Headwaters Chapter among other professional associations around the Twin Cities.

Cindy Ojczyk ("o-check"), LEED AP, Allied Member ASID
Title: Green Design Specialist
Cindy Ojczyk, LEED AP, Allied Member ASID, is an award-winning interior designer and owner of Simply Green Design. She is passionate about creating spaces designed to client need and adorned with beautiful, sustainable materials. She is well known for expertise in space planning, material specification, color coordination, and comprehensive knowledge of Green building strategies and systems such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and Minnesota GreenStar Certification for its Green Homes & Remodeling Program.
Cindy is also co-owner of Verified Green – a consulting and training firm that helps builders, remodelers, product manufacturers and city governments understand Green, build Green, and build Green organizations. Verified Green assists builders and remodelers in implementing the steps necessary for LEED for Homes, MN GreenStar, and Minnesota Green Communities affordable housing program. Verified Green trained and consulted with one of the largest Minnesota lumber yards to grow their Green Committee and embark on a comprehensive education process to engage green design and environmental sustainability education at all employee levels including sales, management, administration, and warehousing. Cindy has served as an instructor for Kaplan Professional Schools –developing their Green building education program - and has been an invited speaker at many professional conferences including the Energy Design Conference, the International Code Council Midwest Region Conference, Green By Design, and Journal of Light Construction (JLC) Minneapolis Conference and Expo.
She is a consummate advocate for the benefits of green design, building, and remodeling. She was a member of the Green Remodeling Group (GRG) that created the MN GreenStar certification program. She currently serves on the GreenStar Technical Committee. Cindy was the co-founder and co-chair of the Green Committee of the American Society of Interior Designers Minnesota Chapter and a past member of the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Mississippi Headwaters Chapter Membership Committee.

Joshua Foss, LEED AP
Title: Green Designer
Joshua Foss, LEED AP, is one of the nation's premier green building, design, and lifestyle experts. He is an outspoken advocate for sustainable living and has made numerous trade show and television appearances around the country.
Foss works with Green Designs and Supply offering Design Services, Green Building Consulting, as well as Green Branding. Foss also runs Thrive Design Studio with offices in Minneapolis and Boulder. He specializes in promoting green design as attractive, affordable, and easy. He also provides services that include sustainable strategy, marketing, and identity consulting.
Foss is very active in both the local Twin Cities and national 'green scenes'. He sits on several sustainable building committees in Minnesota and is a contract graphic designer the U.S. Green Building Council.
You may recognize the designer as "Organic Josh" from season two of HGTV's Design Star. Foss also recently hosted his own series on HGTV's Ecologue called Get Green with Organic Josh. Joshua also authors the Metro Hippie blog and hosts the Greenprints segment on Minneapolis show Blueprint for Green.

Jennifer Noden, LEED AP, Allied Member ASID
Title: Green Design Specialist
Through Commercial Interior Design and Residential Home Design, Jennifer works closely with clients to retool the existing space or create a new one with the idea that the places we work and live are more than just destinations. They are the personal havens we inhabit. While maintaining an eye for cost-effectiveness and a passion for sustainable practices, she strives to create or transform work or home into an environment that will withstand and improve the changes in life.
Jennifer Noden, LEED AP, Allied Member ASID, has 22 years experience in business development and has been dedicated to Commercial Interior Design and Residential Home Design since 2003. She started Glenhurst Design Group with the intention of focusing on Sustainable Practices and Universal Design and has worked for Commercial Tenant Spaces, Entertainment Facilities, Educational Facilities, Religious Organizations, and Residential Investment Firms. With Green Designs and Supply, Jennifer provides services in Commercial Interior Design, Green Building Consulting, Material and Specification Research, and Sustainable Business Planning and Reporting. Her experience in Project Planning and Evaluation includes facilities and tenant space evaluation; space planning; project estimating and budgeting; and code review and analysis. For design services, Jennifer offers experience in interior design; models and computer imaging; signage and graphics; furniture and equipment selection; material selection; contract documents and specifications; and scheduling development. In addition, Jennifer has saved her clients up to 38% of their proposed budgets through Construction Procurement and Contract Administration. These services include document distribution; analysis of alternatives and substitutions; pre-bid conferences; contractor selection; bidding; fixtures, furniture and equipment procurement; signage and graphics procurement; and bid/proposal evaluations. She is extremely hands-on during the Construction Process with construction monitoring and on-site project representation. Post construction, all her clients receive full project documentation, project closeout and any transition assistance necessary.
Jennifer graduated with Honors from Texas A&M Commerce with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and with Honors from The Art Institutes International Minnesota with a degree in Applied Science/Interior Design. Prior to 2003, Jennifer held positions in Technical Recruiting, Sales, Management, Training and Public Speaking. With a diverse business background, Jennifer has a strong talent for organizational and process elements of the LEED certification process. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and currently sits on the ASID Minnesota Council for Sustainable Design. She is a contributing writer for the ASID Design Directions magazine.

Brianna Frandrup
Title: Sustainable Designs Coordinator
Brianna Frandrup is working with Green Designs and Supply on various company projects. Brianna's specialty is to ensure quality design aesthetics and workmanship for our clients.
Brianna is a student of architecture at the University of Minnesota. While immersed in the most current architectural practices, her research has also included environmental science and the fine arts. Her pursuits in architecture have brought her to France, New Zealand, and India which are experiences that have helped shape her talents designing green, high-performance buildings and homes. Brianna's educational endeavors took her to Japan and back again this past May, where she studied modern, contemporary, and sustainable architecture of the region.
